Papa God, the light of a new day is upon us. Open my eyes today that I may recognize your face in those all around me. Open my mind that I may accept that each one has a story to tell, is part of your creation and part of your divine plan. Strengthen me that I may always encourage them, irrespective of where they were born, went to school, or their family background, to discover their purpose and live it out. Open my ears today that I may listen to and hear the stories of my family, friends, and co-workers. And when our day ends, O God, bring us back safely to you, our Creator.
