Papa God, thanks for this new day and for those who, through their faith, have allowed me to encounter Jesus. Give me today a portion of their faith O God, that I too will be able to love others without expecting to be loved in return, to give generously without expecting to be rewarded, to invite and include without expecting to be invited or included, and even to comfort without expecting to be comforted in return. Jesus, may my witness to your love and mercy lead someone else to encounter you today.

‘Prepare the way of the Lord,make straight his paths.Every valley shall be filledand every mountain and hill shall be made low.The winding roads shall be made straight,and the rough ways made smooth,and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’(Luke 3 4:6)Abba,Thank You for this new day.Prepare me for the second coming of Your Son Jesus.Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You.Blot out my every sin and grant me forgiveness for them.Fill me with Your Peace and love.Anoint me from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet.Bless me and keep me from all harm and danger.Amen

If you could just let go of your white-knuckle grip on life, you would automatically feel good, because feeling good is your true nature. In fact, whenever you feel good, it means you must have let go of bad feelings, enabling good feelings to naturally appear.Let go of difficulties from your past, cultural codes, and social beliefs. You are the only one who can create the life you deserve”When you try to control everything, you enjoy nothing. Sometimes you just need to relax, breathe, let go and live in the moment.”Overthinking arises when you unconsciously provoke negative emotions and thoughts and avoid positive emotions and thoughts.Two wrongs don’t make a right. Hurting back the people who hurt you makes you just like them. Be careful. Learn to rise above it all. Don’t stoop down to their level. It’s not worth it. Besides that’s not who you are. Keep your character intact. Take the high road instead.

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
