O God my provider, you will never let me go hungry or beg for bread. Even in my darkest hour, you have provided me with persons more interested in my survival than in my circumstance. At all times Father, I ate and I was satisfied. Help me today to discern my five loaves and two fish, to be thankful for whatever blessings I have received, and to accept that they were never intended for my benefit alone, but for all your children. Increase my faith today that I may continue to believe that it is in giving that I will receive, and in dying that I will be born to eternal life.
You were designed to shine and to illuminate what’s good. You are the light of the world, so don’t add to the darkness. Turn your light on. It works best in dark places.
Into your hands Father we commit this new day and the beginning of this new work week. There is so much ahead of us O God, so much that is possible, so many new opportunities. As we enter this new year Father, help us to humble ourselves and accept that all that we have and ever hope to be, we owe it all to you. Help us to decrease while you increase in us O God. Regardless of whatever success or fame we acquire O God, may we always do like John the Baptist and point you out to others. May our lives be a reflection of you working in and through us, today and always.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
The beginning of anything starts with a dream. You’ve got to understand that it doesn’t matter your financial circumstance, it doesn’t matter what environment you live in. If you can see yourself outside of all of that, see it and believe it to be so. https://t.co/ZDLd4H0YAR

Papa God, I bow my head in prayer before you today and bend my knee at the sound of your name. Your name O God says who you are to your children – mighty God, Wonder Counsellor and Prince of Peace. But what does my name signify to those who hear it O God? Laughter, scorn, pride, joy, admiration? Help me today to live up to the promise you had for me when you first called me by name. May my name, like yours and John the Baptist, represent both who I am and who I was called to be.
Papa God, as the tomorrow’s of 2021 diminish and the hope of 2022 beckons, I place my life in your hands and surrender it all to you. Give me the grace to be as obedient to your Holy Spirit as Simeon, and the strength to accept your blessings as both a crown of joy and a cross of sorrow like Mary. And when at last all powerful Master, you give leave to your servant to return to you, receive me I pray, with the same joy as one who found his lost sheep, or who welcomes home his prodigal son.
