Papa God, you know the anguish of the sorrowful and are attentive to the prayers of the humble, hear our prayers as we come before you in this new day. Father, as we see and name our own woundedness, help us to be present to intercede for others as they see and name their own. As we acknowledge our own areas of weakness O God, and learn how to live with them openly in your presence, teach us how to be more compassionate with others as they struggle with their own. May today be that added opportunity for us to lift each other physically, emotionally, and spiritually, as we journey together back to you.
