O God of compassion, thanks for the many women of faith you have placed in my life, and for their powerful witness to your love and mercy. Fill my cup too today O God, that I may not only grow in faith, but develop the resilience and bravery that comes with being a person of faith. Help me to embrace the opportunity of this new day, to draw closer to your table O God. And when, at last my days end, I pray that I be welcomed into the company of your saints.
