O God of unity,bless us as we enter this new day. Remove from within us the artificial barriers we have created that keep us separated. Remove the shackles of prejudice and bigotry, and the self-imposed chains of creed and class that have divided us for so many years. Help us instead O God, to recognize the one common denominator that binds us, that we are all children of the One God, your children, co-heirs of creation and pilgrims together on our journey back to you.
