All powerful God, look with favour upon your children as we enter into this new day. Father there are so many battles raging inside each of us, our fears and insecurities, our anger and resentment, our envy and pride. So many times our sin threatens to take over our lives O God. Help us to remember that you are always willing to deliver us from our demons, and you are only a prayer away. Bless, guide and protect us as we make our way through today O God, and may light eternal shine upon us at the hour of our death.
