All powerful God,You are the Creator of all that is, and You have always used that power for good, to destroy evil and bring justice to the oppressed.As we enter this new day O God, help us to use whatever power we may possess in the service of Your people. Remove from us the blindness of our arrogance, and the insensitivity to others that comes when we ignore the temporary nature of power. Fill us today with that common love that binds and makes all Your children as one. Bless our leaders too O God, and give them grace to guide us.And when this day ends O God, may we enter into your presence rejoicing that we have used our power over others as you have used Your power over us and the world, with love.In Jesus Almighty Name Amen and Amen
