Into your hands Father of Mercy I commit today and all that it holds. There are so many times O God when I feel the frustration of your disciples, that I’ve worked hard all night and caught nothing, that I’ve given my all to something or someone without the desired result. But always O God, your voice comes through the despair, urging me to go again, to return to the challenge, to dig deeper and go further. Teach me today O God to be obedient to your word, and to rely on your strength when I am weak. Humble me that I may surrender my will to you today, and every day for the rest of my life.
