Papa God, thanks for this new day and for those who, through their faith, have allowed me to encounter Jesus. Give me today a portion of their faith O God, that I too will be able to love others without expecting to be loved in return, to give generously without expecting to be rewarded, to invite and include without expecting to be invited or included, and even to comfort without expecting to be comforted in return. Jesus, may my witness to your love and mercy lead someone else to encounter you today.
