Spirit of God, come from the four winds today and overshadow me with your grace that I too may be a vessel of peace and love in this waiting and wailing world. Clothe me with Mary’s humility that I may say yes to your invitation even when I don’t fully understand the implications of my response. And help me to trust you completely O God, to surrender entirely to your will and your way, that I might join with Mary and say “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let what you have said be done to me, according to thy word.”
