Open my eyes today O God, that I may see the mustard seeds springing to life all around me. Help me to recognize it in those who, no matter how small, still give of their time, talent, and treasure in service to others; in those who keep telling each other the stories of hope; those who go out to care for each other, not pretending to solve all problems, but who bring smiles to those about to die, and a little hope to a lonely child. Help me to plant mustard seeds today O God, for it is that what keeps faith, hope, and love alive, in a world constantly on the brink of self-destruction.
