Papa God, today had not been promised to me and yet, here I am, grateful to be counted amongst the living. Help me to appreciate more this gift of life O God, but more importantly, the need to live in the now, to live each day to its fullest, utilizing all the gifts and talents with which I have been blessed. Teach me how to wait creatively for your arrival O God, how to spend my time, my life, my resources, all in anticipation of your coming, so that when there are no more tomorrows, I would be certain that my todays were spent not in futile endeavors, but rather in preparation for my reunion with you.
